Between light and shadow: a winter journey in the Obereggen woods with snowshoes.
The winter snowshoe excursion in the tourist area of Obereggen, located in the splendid Val d'Ega, is an enchanting experience that offers a perfect combination of the beauty of the mountain landscapes and the thrill of physical activity in the snow.
The route winds through the extensive skiing and hiking area of Obereggen, offering a unique opportunity to explore the snow-covered forests at the foot of the majestic Latemar Dolomite group. ITINERARY
From the Obereggen car park (1475 m) take path 11 to the Grosswiesen meadows and continue until you get off at the SS20. Here you follow trail sign 11A and then 10 up to the Malga Epircher Laner (1830 m). You then continue along forest road 22A and return to Obereggen via paths 22 and 21.

EQUIPMENT
It is recommended to have the appropriate equipment: kit for self-rescue in avalanches (consisting of Artva, shovel and probe), snowshoes, sticks, crampons, glasses, sunscreen, hiking boots, winter clothing, gloves, cap, backpack hot drinks.

Exit A22 Bolzano Nord, take SS241 Val d'Ega to Ponte Nuova, take SS620 and finally SP76 and arrive in Obereggen.
