Cima Forzellina from Fontanino di Peio

DESCRIPTION
Excursion in a wild and uncrowded environment that will take us to Cima Forzellina.
Cima Forzellina is a grassy summit located on the ridge that divides the upper Val di Sole from the Val del Monte (Pejo). It is an interesting vantage point, but it is rarely visited. Probably what discourages is the lack of real paths and the harshness of the accesses.
In the upper part the path is not always indicated. Pay attention to the entrance to the canal that goes up to Bocchetta Saviana and along the ridge leading to the top.

ITINERARY
From Fontanino di Peio (1680 m) go up following the 110 up to Malga Celentino (1830 m). Here you take path 144 and arrive at Baito Pudrìa (2147 m). Continuing to climb, after about 25 minutes, you will come to a crossroads (2271 m). Keep to the left and, from here on, the path is not very marked and is also not very beaten. Climbing up the stony ground you arrive at Bocchetta Saviana (2716 m). From the pass, go up to the left on the ridge and arrive at Cima Forzellina (2830 m); there is no real path. You return by the same itinerary.
