Tour of the 3 mountain huts: Monte Sole Bassa, Fratte Alta and Fratte Bassa

DESCRIPTION
Nice winter excursion starting from Rabbi Fonti.
The itinerary does not present particular technical difficulties. Up to Malga Monte Sole Bassa you go along a dirt road while the remaining sections are mainly a path. Along the way there are three mountain huts: Monte Sole Bassa, the ruins of Fratte Alta and Fratte Bassa (only the latter open). On the way back, you cross the beautiful Suspended Bridge which allows you to cross the Ragaiolo stream.

ITINERARY
From the car park (1249 m) take the forest road towards Malga Monte Sole.
Once in the Fontanon locality, go up to the right until you reach the Malga Monte Sole Bassa (1759 m). Here you take the path that passes on the back of the hut and climbs quickly to the ruins of the Malga Fratte Alta (1867 m). Now go down the uphill path for about 200 m and at the crossroads turn left arriving at Malga Fratte Bassa (1482 m). Return to the starting point by crossing the Suspended Bridge.

EQUIPMENT
It is recommended to have the appropriate equipment: kit for self-rescue in avalanches (consisting of Artva, shovel and probe), snowshoes, sticks, crampons, glasses, sunscreen, hiking boots, winter clothing, gloves, cap, backpack hot drinks.
