Cime Corno and Casèt

DESCRIPTION
Interesting circular route above Lake Ledro.
The peaks around Lake Ledro offer beautiful views in all seasons.
It starts just above the lake and the first stop is the medieval church of San Martino, with a lovely lawn in front of it and with a beautiful view over the Ledro Valley. The second stage leads to Malga Giù, located in the middle of flowery meadows. Go up to Bocca Casèt and take the path on the ridge to Cima Corno: this is the most interesting part, because it is very scenic. During the excursion, you will come across remains of military fortifications from the First World War.
The itinerary does not present particular technical difficulties, even if a short section is equipped with a metal cord.

ITINERARY
From the car park (800 m) take path 456, which, passing through the church of San Martino (1228 m) and Bochèt de la Spinera (1320 m), leads to Malga Giù (1281 m). Continue on the 419 up to the Bocca Casèt (1603 m). Here you take the 456B which, passing through the Casèt peak (1748 m) and the Pubregn peak (1775 m), leads to the Cima Corno (1732 m). To go up to Cima Corno you go up and then down by an unnumbered path. Continuing on the 456B you return to Bochèt de la Spinera (1320 m). Now return to the starting point following the 456.

From Riva del Garda or from Storo: SS240 to Pieve di Ledro. Here take Via Alzer along the lake, Via Val Maria and Via al Roccolo.
