DESCRIPTION
Circular hike in the heart of the Sella Group.
The itinerary is quite challenging due to the difference in height and for some aided and exposed sections. Along the entire route you always have a beautiful view: at the start on the Pordoi Pass and on the Marmolada, from the Forcella Pordoi on the plateau inside the Sella Group, from the summit of Piz Boè is 360 degrees and from the Kostner Refuge to the Vallon on Val Badia , on the Campolongo Pass and on Arabba.
ITINERARY
From Passo Pordoi (2239 m) take path 627. In the first section you walk in the meadows, then after passing a hump, the bottom becomes gravel. Arrived at the Forcella Pordoi (2848 m) continue on the same path for about ten minutes until you reach a crossroads. Here you take the path on the right 638 which will take you to the top of Piz Boè and exactly to the Capanna Fassa Refuge at 3152m. Continue along path 672: a ridge path which then descends to the Kostner al Vallon Refuge (2550 m). Now you return to Passo Pordoi following the paths 638, 626 and 626A passing through the Germanic Memorial (2239 m).

If you want to shorten the itinerary, take the cable car at Passo Pordoi. You will save about 600 meters in altitude.
