Limo lake and Col Bechei from the Rifugio Pederü

DESCRIPTION
Magnificent trekking inside the large Fanes plateau.
We are located within the Fanes-Senes-Braies Natural Park. Established by the Province of Bolzano in 1980, the park covers an area of 25,453 ha. The excursion that we offer is very beautiful: you can see pastures, lakes and conquer a peak. We classified it difficult, not because of the technical characteristics, but simply because it is demanding both for the difference in height and for the length. If you arrive on the Col Bechei peak you will delight in a magnificent 360 degree panorama.

ITINERARY
From the Rifugio Pederü (1548 m) take path 7 to the Rifugio Fanes (2060 m). Here on path 11 you climb to Passo Limo (2174 m) and to Lago Limo (2159 m). From the lake, go along the 418 and arrive at the Col Bechei peak (2794 m). We return by the same road and near the Rifugio Fanes (2060 m) we take path 11A on the left which, passing through the Green Lake, takes us to the Rifugio Lavarella (2042 m). Now you return to the starting point along path 7.

HOW TO ARRIVE
Exit A22 Bressanone. Take the SS49 of the Val Pusteria to San Lorenzo di Sebato. Here you turn right into Val Badia. Continue to San Vigilio di Marebbe and then on (about 12 km) to the end of the Rudo Valley.
